With the end in sight for the Necromunda Terrain Builers contest, some detail work and making sure everything is now on the diorama at least.
A few photos for your perusal.

Materials used are predominantly our own 3D designs printed out, the ethos is scratchbuild+ giving model makers detailed parts to add to scavenged materials to quickly make more realistic looking.

For those who are unfamiliar with 3D printing, this might not be of use to you.

The mini pipe system that we make has lots of very small parts, so small that adding a brim causes issues with cleanup, and bed adhesion issues on such small parts occasionally causes failures.

The kits comprise of 5x of each part in the system, so in the institutionalised mindset, we designed compact "sprue" versions (you know, for that warm fuzzy familiarity of injection moulded parts) Print failure is reduced, and kitting is easier.

The unexpected side effect of this is a large impact on overall print time.
The reason? The sprue is treated as one model, and there are no limitations on distance between the connected parts. Printing single peices x5 of every part causes up to 40% more travel time and takes up more space on the bed.

Plus they look pretty good too.

Designed some new base toppers, as previously requested, styled to fit in with the Zone Mortalis aesthetic, so suits the likes of Necromunda figures, but also good for most scifi tabletop wargaming.

Question is, would these be better with an integrated printable base too, or just as the topper alone?
