TO THE NURSE WHO IS TIRED… 🩺❤️

Some days, nursing is fulfilling. Other days, you finish your shift wondering how you managed to get through it.

Here is the truth

You are allowed to be tired and still love nursing.
You are allowed to have difficult shifts and still be a good nurse.
You are allowed to rest without feeling guilty.

Take care of yourself too, the person underneath those scrubs matters. ❤️

To every nurse heading to work today, may your shift be peaceful, your staffing be adequate, and may nobody say, “It’s been quiet today.”

Tag a nurse who needs this reminder today. 💕

I hope you woke up feeling refreshed.

May today bring you peace in your heart, strength for whatever comes your way, and favour in everything you do. 🙏✨

Here’s to a beautiful and productive Tuesday! 💕

When answering labor-and-delivery questions, prioritize fetal oxygenation, maternal hemorrhage, cord prolapse, and obstetric emergencies over routine labor progression.

FHR → Oxygenation → Bleeding → Cord → Contractions → Maternal stability → Baby

Motherhood is a privilege, not a licence to abuse.

Last night, I watched the videos of AngieNation about what she went through at the hands of her own mother.

While watching those videos, I was wondering; how could a mother maltreath and destroy the confidence and spirit of the child you brought into this world? Did we not pass through the phases of pregnancy, labour and delivery or are there exceptional cases were some mothers skip these stage to have their child?

Some mothers are so toxic that you would wonder if she is actually your mother. They never listens, when you even make any suggestions or try to correct them, it becomes war.

Motherhood does not make you less human, even your child/children are human. We as parents must be intentional about how we handle our anger.

If you are a mother who is constantly cursing your child, or unleash bitter words on them, remember that those words are entering the heart of a human being who sees you as their role model. Words are very powerful.

Motherhood is a blessing not a curse.

Your child may forgive you, but what about the trauma you have caused? forgiveness does not always erase the trauma.

You may wonder why your child keeps their distance from you, sometimes distance is not hatred. It is self protection. Simply trying to protect their peace and mental health.

Let us do better as mothers.

Let us learn to correct with love and discipline without humiliating our blessings in human form. Set boundaries without breaking their spirits.

Our children may forget the punishment, but they may never forget how we made them feel.

May our children see home as a place of love, safety and acceptance, not a toxic place they had to escape from to find peace. ❤️
