First day
Obligatory first day of nursery photos at the front door. I loved them all, so it’s a bit of series! The last photo makes me laugh as it looks like he’s coming home after a hard day at the office 😂
Rory had his first full day of nursery yesterday and he did so well. He’s just taken it all in his stride and pretty much just toddles off into the room to play with all the toys. A couple of tears yesterday, {mostly from me} but I’m so proud of how well he’s done so far.
It’s made SUCH a difference your baby starting nursery not in a pandemic. It’s really made me realise how hard it actually was back then for new parents and babies. Harrison cried for the first 2 weeks as I handed him over outside nursery, as he had to pretty much be ripped from my arms as we couldn’t go in. It was heart wrenching 💔. Whereas with Rory I get to drop him off in his room and let him take in his surroundings and settle before I leave him. I’ve loved looking back at Harrison’s first day of nursery photos, I’ll share a little comparison on my stories 👀
He’s out in the big world now. Shine bright my gorgeous boy.
