Becky Langley speaking to some of the media today.
"I think we need to start on the front foot (coming up against Bristol City) like we ended the game against Palace, and I think the fans want to see a high-energy press. Our fans will be looking for us to be really threatening in wide areas and get multiple opportunities to cross the ball in the 18-yard area, but we have to be clinical in those moments.
"She’s a brilliant player (Morgan Goutrat) and an even better person. Some of her leadership this week for myself and the group has been outstanding and she knows what it takes. This isn’t pressure for her, she was aged 21 at a World Cup so for her, in terms of what we’re navigating at the minute, she’s settled into the group a bit more now and is really ready to kick on. She’s been phenomenal in terms of her support to players and myself.
"It's brilliant for Jas (to be called up to Scotland u23's). She’s a talented player that’s obviously been through our pathway and someone that I’m very fond of in terms of her playing capabilities. She’s a very skilful player, she’s got a natural talent in terms of her creativity. She had a flavour for the England under 23s last season for the first time, and now she’s got the opportunity with the Scottish national team. I’m really excited for her, alongside Charlotte Wardlaw, and obviously, Freya is with the first team."
