Part 1

The first leg of the obsequies of my late Dad started with a solemn service of songs at my local church; BLYTH COMMUNITY CHURCH where we had a few available members and the pastorate grace the occasion.

It was a defining moment for me as it set the right tone for the forthcoming event series and did give me a brace-up to the reality that i would now go on to live with.

A while back i ran into Vicki playing some of my favorite hymns and decided to sing with her.

She and Alan (Her husband) are missionaries visiting Newcastle from America and they whiled away time at the Brunswick Methodist church, playing good tunes.

It was such a great time spent singing for the Lord.

Happy Easter folks!

In the comimg days leading to Easter Sunday, i will be having an Easter Cantata : A rendition of my favourite Easter hymns unaccompanied.

These are songs with cavernous lyrics and melancholic melodies which best befits the season.

Ihope someone is blessed by them.
