Save for your next lunch date 🍕

You know my thoughts on .ouseburn by now, in my opinion the best pepperoni square!

Perfect location at the entrance to the Ouseburn and serving up pizza by the slice (or whole! 20inch 👀), homemade tiramisu, pasta, roast potatoes, cannolis... the list goes on!

Unreal food and the perfect place for a pit stop.

Newcastles best curry 🤝 a bring your own booze restaurant

We ❤️ - BYOB deliciousness in the heart of Newcastles best suburb (we are biased).

They’ve been serving up Punjabi flavours surrounded by exotic wood carvings and chandeliers since 1999.

The menu is excellent, something for everyone. Loads of veggie options too (the paneer is so good!)

We always get a recommendation from our server - nothing is too much trouble and you know it’s going to be delicious. The flavours are fresh and the spice is perfect.

Our favourite dishes:

🍛 Chicken chilli karahi
🫓 Chilli & garlic naan
🧅 Onion bhaji
🐓 Tandoori chicken
🌾 Garlic pilau

We love coming here in large groups or on date night. It’s affordable, you can bring your own tipple and the service is fast and friendly.

If you need a recommendation for a celebratory meal, date night, catch up with friends or anything with a fancy twist - is your place 🫶

We dined from their Saturday evening menu and it was heaven.

Our standouts:

🐟 Sea bass carpaccio
🌀 Zucchini fritti
🍝 Cacio e pepe lasagna
🍰 Basque cheesecake

Think low mood lighting, a buzzing atmosphere & relaxed fine dining.

The service was exceptionally good - knowledgeable and attentive. A hand-drawn specials board is presented and each dish is explained to the finest detail, with recommendations!

Is it on the pricey side? Somewhat. Is it worth every penny? YES!

Hidden roof terrace in the Ouseburn 👀🌺

Did you know that has the most gorgeous sun trap where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and drinks 🍸

They are hidden at the top of the and what more could you need for the perfect morning activity? Little bit of art, little bit of brunch 😋

🍳 Scrambled eggs and salmon on sourdough (+ add hash browns)

The service is fab and the food is so so lovely. Felt like we were on holiday somewhere ☀️

The bestttttt Mexican in the north east just has to be ☀️

I cannot describe how delicious the food and drinks are here. It’s our go to restaurant whenever we need a reason to go out 😋

We got the usual suspects but tried the Chicharrones for the first time and my god, incredible. Some of the best pork I’ve ever had.

Standouts:

🍸 Frozen strawberry and watermelon marg (omg so good)

🌮 Chicken tacos
🧀 Cadillac nachos
🥩 Asada fries
🐷 Chicharrones

The restaurant is also stunning and dog friendly! We went on a little dog walk afterwards to the fish quay beach. Gorge.

Weekend markets meant a visit to 🥩

🐮 Beef french dip sandwich - roast british beef, caramelised onions, swiss cheese, english mustard and a pot of rich au jus to dip £8.50 (+£3 add chips)

It is really just fantastic. Soft bread, loads of tasty beef, sharp mustard and a lovely salty jus. The chips are lush.

I could have eaten 2 of them 😋 Going to try the lamb next!
