s-tastic, 90s-tastic, etc. They have also done numerous Versus theme nights such as Madonna vs Blondie, Stones vs The Beatles & Prince and Mark E Smith tributes. They've had regular DJ residencies at venues such as The Carriage Jesmond, The Ship, Ouseburn, The Brinkburn and have DJd at many other North East venues including their Hacienda night at The Old Coal Yard. They're also partners in House Disciples house club night at Zerox with house DJs Conrad Scott & Mr Todd. Jim and Fiona also specialise in producing club visuals, projection mapping, music videos & short films as digital artists & also work as designer makers producing mainly North East and music related gifts out of their studio at The Mushroom Works.

Our Story

We are crowd-pleasing DJs Fiona Birkbeck & Jim Bell and have one mission - to get people dancing! We are DJing for the third year running for the fab Lindisfarne Festival, have monthly residencies at ShipOuseburn & Brinkburn Brewery in Newcastle upon Tyne’s creative quarter the Ouseburn & at The Carriage in Jesmond and we DJ at various clubs nights and events across the North East. A lot of our events are under our popular Fantastic/?-tastic banner/brand and are themed (Disco-tastic, 80s-tastic, Dance-tastic, Synth-tastic, 90s-tastic, 70s-tastic, etc.). We also DJ at other venues such as The Cluny, Tyne Bar and guest DJ at other people’s nights including Conrad Scott’s brilliant monthly House Disciples house music club at Bar Loco & Rob & Lou’s very cool RE:Peel nights. We also DJ at lots of private events across the area as guests of our own events often ask us to recreate one for them.

Our Ship residency is usually on the fourth Saturday night of the month, the Carriage on the second Saturday and the Brinkburn on the first Friday of the month but please double check before coming down as these dates do change.

Multiminded Music is the spin off arm of boutique creative studio Multiminded Digital (websites and videos) which is based in the Toffee Factory.

We are music and festival fanatics. We live our lives to a soundtrack and then some. But we don’t just like music we create it. And we produce a myriad of other things music and festival related too from videos to websites to events.
