Meat Feasting

Gotta say, this was a beaut of a BBQ feast!

I went for the 'special' double burger, cooked medium... probably the juiciest thick patty 🍔 I've had in a long time, just 👌

& hubby went for the rack of ribs each... which were annihilated 😋

Starters were crispy BBQ wings & a basket of cheesy things... mozzarella sticks, cajun cheese bites & monterrey jack bites

Petition started for Buffalo Grill to open some sites in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 it was bloody lush!

I absolutely love the Press Day Meeting the amazing cast, especially the regulars (and my favourites 😉) & 🫶

And no I'm not sorry for posting Christmas stuff already... it's my favourite time of the year 😜

Tickets are selling fast for this year's shows... and if you missed out on last year's adult only show, I HIGHLY recommend it!
We loved it so much, we booked straight back up for this year's after the show in January 😁

Great to see the awesome back at this year's show, they played a blinder last season!

You can choose a slice of either Pepperoni or Margherita to celebrate the upcoming launch of their new Neapolitan style 🍕... with a twist!

The full menu will have the traditional Neapolitan base, with non-traditional toppings 👌

is one of the best restaurants in Newcastle & I won't be told otherwise 😉

Food is always top tier and I love the decor & history of the restaurant/building itself

These 📸 are from a summer visit... better late than never eh 😁

In order of appearance:

Main... North Sea monkfish & nori ballotine, mussels, potato press, seaweed beurré blanc
Starter... Sharing board for 2: Trout rillettes, prawn cocktail, fishcakes, pickled herring, crab mayo, sweet pickles & sourdough
Pan-fried fillet of beef, caramelised onion tart, prawn cocktail, bisque

I doubled up on the Chilli Margs to start, cos they make a bloody great one 👌

had the classic, sausage & mash from the 'little monks' menu & a cheeky mocktail to get the party started 😜

Sunday lunch at the Top of the Toon 🖤🤍

Unrivalled views of our beautiful city

2 courses for £21.95 is a good deal, the kids especially is a bargain at only £6.95

We had the Roast Sirloin of Beef & Shredded Confit Lamb Shoulder... both were nice & the meats were tender
Our vote for the best goes to the lamb though 👌

Getting to watch the Great North Run & Red Arrows from a very different perspective added to the day 😁

Tacos were lush 😋 the prawns were on a base of salsa, Sriracha mayo & avocado

Chicken menu is 🔥

We visited recently for an absolute feast... and the burgers are absolutely cracking!

The Hawaiian 🍔 went down a storm with
A fresh crispy coated chicken breast, topped with cheese & a grilled pineapple ring, then topped off with onion rings 🤤
The Korean BBQ 🍔 was mine cos mini foodie can't handle the heat... but I absolutely love it!
Again, a fresh chicken burger, smothered in a lush Korean BBQ sauce 😋

We (well I haha) also had the Hot Honey BBQ wings... just 👌

Another beaut of a meal from our favourite chippy in Whiltley Bay 🫶

Breakfast of Champions 🙌

Not my first rodeo but it was my first time trying their breakfast 🍔... just 🤤🤤

The Full English went down a storm with my mate, who'd never visited this place before

The breakfast burger was next level imo...
Pork patty, potato cake, double bacon, hash brown & a fried egg 🤤

Won't lie, it's making me hungry all over again just writing up this post 😂
