Being a DJ isn’t just about the music anymore. These days.. staying relevant means constantly creating content, engaging, and keeping up with a dam algorithm. To be honest with you, it's fuxking exhausting. I didn’t get into this to spend hours figuring out how to “perform” for social media... I got into this because I love music!
The time I spend stressing over posts is time I could be spending mixing, digging for tunes and refining my skills. But if you don’t post, you risk fading away and being forgotten. It’s a cycle that can be draining... and honestly, my heart really just isn’t in it right now. It hasn't been for a while and I'm really struggling with it.
I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. This kind of pressure can take the joy out of what we love. So if you see me posting less, please just know.. I’m still here, still creating, still putting my energy where it really matters.. into the music!
So much Gooey love to everyone who supports me for the art, not just the algorithm.
