Knowledge is most valuable when shared.

This week I had with me on work experience, and it was a brilliant reminder of that truth.

He spent the week with us in the studio experimenting with lighting setups, capturing shots, and filming behind-the-scenes content during two on-location shoots.

For me, it was a chance to slow things down and share what I’ve learned over the last 10–12 years not just in photography, but in business, marketing, lighting, and social media.

It also pushed me to experiment more creatively myself.

When you’re explaining what you do and why you do it, it forces you to look at your own craft differently.

Dara’s been a pleasure to have around curious, focused, and switched on. He’s taken everything in quickly, asked the right questions, and approached every challenge with enthusiasm.

There’s no doubt in my mind he’s got a bright future ahead in photography.

Vulnerability is strength.

Since it’s World Mental Health Day, I wanted to share a video I created a couple of years ago one that means a lot to me.

It’s about the stigma around therapy.

As a business owner, therapy has helped me more than I can explain not just in work, but as a father, husband, and person.

It’s helped me challenge my inner negatives, gain clarity, and grow.

And honestly, it’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made in myself.

I’ve always believed there’s strength in vulnerability.

And if sharing my story helps even one person open up or seek help, then it’s worth it.

I want to take a moment to thank for having me over at his retreat in Portugal this week and giving me the opportunity to deliver a workshop on personal brand while I was there.

It was incredible to spend a few days away with like-minded people business owners who were there for wellness, breath work, exercise, and some much-needed time to switch off and reflect on where they are.

Not only was I able to capture content throughout the retreat, but I also got to be part of it surrounded by great people, great conversations, and an atmosphere that was genuinely refreshing.

The company, the food, the location all of it made for an incredible experience.

Truly grateful to have been part of it.
