Hello 2026!

We have a little 2025 recap coming very soon but we were back in full swing coming into 2026 with a shoot for a very well known household brand.. we can’t tell you who it is just yet but we are very excited to show you..

We couldn’t have wished for a better crew involved on the days. Even the minus temperatures couldn’t phase these guys!

Turps Film presents: “A New Recruit”

From directors Luke Holland and Claire Holland, this new production began on the 11th December 2025.

Featuring rising star, Jack Holland, this is Turps Film’s biggest production to date. Watch this space for the new recruit on future shoots near you!

(We’re aware of the cheese but being a family run business, we couldn’t sign out the year without making the announcement.

We’ll be closing the office tomorrow so the team can rest, eat 5147 quality streets and we’ll be back from the 5th of January ready to kick start a new year full of shoots and a brand new showreel)

It was time the Turps Film team treated ourselves to a new space and we can’t wait to get stuck in transforming the new pad!

You can now find us at Royal Quays business centre- keeping our roots in North Shields.

Wrapping up the week with our wrap up film for the Animating Ashington programme.

From November 2024 until this Summer, we captured numerous events as part of the programme, produced by Walk the Plank.

We documented these spectacular events through a series of videos which included parades and processions, LED drummers, fireworks and pyrotechnics galore to name a few.

In addition to creating social media cuts and individual films for the events we attended, we were also asked to create this wrap up film which can be used for future funding and contract bids.

Included are vox pops with the public and interviews with key figures such as local MPs and the production team themselves.

These events saw the community brought out in force and we loved being a part of it.

That’s a wrap on our shoot in Surrey so it’s only fitting that the team debrief over a cold one before another road trip back tomorrow. Aaah tastes like home.

Ah Wetherby Services… a familiar pitstop for the Turps team! This week, our travels are taking us ‘daaan sathhh’ past London for a commercial product shoot. Watch this space for bts bits and some nifty kit being used in the future.

We worked with Sunderland Public Health and Sandhill View Academy to produce this va**ng awareness campaign aimed at young adults.
