To many, it’s just a bit of business advertising. Just a window init. But for me, it’s one of them business milestones.
It’s a statement. That after 18 months I’m now proudly making a visible stamp on the street. I’m here. Im a business.
I know it sounds mental. Of course I’m a business. But I’ve spent a lot of time in life feeling like I’m for ever winging it. Never truly feeling like I’m a business owner. Who do I think I am calling myself a business owner 😆 Well I fu%in am. And now I’m telling the neighbourhood.
No longer just my social media family (that’s you)
But also now the real world street strangers 🫪
Anyway. A mini milestone. Chuft. (And I’m still fu%in winging it) neeeeoooooow ✈️

Our first series of Behind The Business is officially wrapped. 🎙️✨

What a journey it's been.

Thank you to every one of our incredible guests for sharing your stories with honesty, passion and authenticity. Your experiences, challenges and successes are what make this series so special.

A massive thank you to the North Tyneside Business Forum management team for believing in the vision and supporting the project from day one.

And to Heywood and Stuff and Jamilah JH Property Connect – thank you for the hours, creativity, patience and hard work you've poured into bringing this series to life. It's been emotional, it's been rewarding, and it's been an absolute privilege to create something we're all incredibly proud of.

Now... it's time for the final stretch.

The edits are underway, the finishing touches are being made, and we're getting everything ready for publication.

Recently recorded an episode of The Tender Heart podcast hosted by
The episodes guest was Charlie who spoke about many things, and as seen in short, about her cic Women’s Street Watch. The female led street patrol keeping women (and other vulnerable people) safe at night in Newcastle.
I don’t pretend to know how bad it is in Newcastle centre, but I do have a 7 year old daughter. And knowing that people like Charlie and her team exist today, gives me a lot of comfort.
Superheroes do f% exist. But let’s not oversee the problem here. Society would be a better place if we didn’t need superheroes to begin with.
