I saw two “Peter Rabbit Tales on the Tyne”, figures close to St James Park today and after taking photos checked out why they are there.

According to the tales on the tyne website @ talesonthetyne.co.uk

“The streets, parks and public spaces of Newcastle and North Tyneside have been transformed into an outdoor gallery from, now until Monday 14th September.

Newcastle and North Tyneside have been sprinkled with creativity thanks to the arrival of 96 super-sized Peter Rabbit sculptures”

Keep your eyes peeled as you explore – you never know where a Peter Rabbit might be hiding!

There are trail maps available as well as much more information on how you can get more involved in the projects fundraising on the official page (see link above)

After spotting two of those 96 Peters (see images below) and I’m wondering if any of this pages followers will find more that can be added to this post.

Please post your own images and location of the photo in the comments section 🙂 TY

It would be great if we could add some more images to this post before the end of the statue placements (14th of September 2026) and amazing if we could find all 96 😎.

If not, at the least I’ve promoted a good local cause in the mean time 🙂

Works continue to slow the traffic on the Tyne Bridge in 2026.

I know it’s necessary, however I’m looking forward to when all the renovations are finally complete 🤭
