Good morning and happy Thursday, I hope you're all well on this beautiful morning 🌄
Well a little ankle update 🦶 as I know a few of you have been asking. I had my Physiotherapy assessment which went well, he was happy with the movement I had and how it looks apart from a little swelling which is only natural.
I've got stretches to do at home and I can walk around the flat in the boot but still not weight bearing without the boot, I've managed two small walks to the end of the road and back with the crutches, until next week I've got to keep the walks very short especially having to navigate the stairs, so I'm doing a few laps of my front room steadily, it's amazing how your mussel's loses it's strength and how tired you get.
X-ray and consultant appointment next week which hopefully will show everything is where it should be and healing so we can start the rehabilitation process and more weight bearing, fingers and toes crossed 🤞 hopefully the next step of getting back to a little more normality and a day closer to getting back to work.
Anyway I managed to capture this beautiful scene this morning, how lucky am I to have this at the end of my road/street Ripon Cathedral ⛪
To finish, thank you for your likes, comments and genuine care and support, it really has helped me on the journey and being able to still share content for you be that pre-recorded before the break and some old photos 📸 has given me something to do.
I will update you after next week's appointment where hopefully it's positive news 🤞
