I’m finally printed and ready for The Next Stop: The .uon Degree Show 2024.

The past few months have been a whirlwind, filled with final submissions, building my professional portfolio, and creating my website.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been offered a Junior Graphic Design role, and I feel incredibly fortunate to secure a job right out of university. I can’t wait to dive into the industry and keep learning in this ever-evolving field. 👩🏻‍💻

Here’s a recent project I completed—a 24-page typographic book titled “Chronoception,” focusing solely on the perception of time. I interviewed a diverse group of people ranging from ages 4 to 86 about their perception of time, and each double-page spread in the book represents an individual’s thoughts on time. ⏰

I absolutely loved working on this project, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s rare for me to have the opportunity to conduct my own project purely for self-indulgence, and I gained some really interesting insights in the process.

My favourite project from the last year.

Introducing my submission for the new blood awards, a geosocial app from . The application aims to minimise worries surrounding getting out and being active and also focuses on the benefits that activity and socialising has on mental well-being.

With multiple features including an events calender, tips and tricks and the main feature, a “dating style” page that allows you to find people in your area of the same activity level to enable you to be active together.

Research and Ideation. Why is it such an important process as a Graphic Designer? 👩🏻‍💻

Here are just a few reasons why this part of design is crucial for getting the most effective results.

It can be so easy to get ahead of yourself and dive straight into the designing process but to get the most out of your time and work, try investing more time in your research and you will be amazed at the results 🙌🏻

Taken a week away from the laptop since my final deadlines of the year and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to get my teeth into some new projects 💪🏻

In the meantime I’d like to show one of my favourite projects from the last semester.

I was given the task of creating some new assets for in order to raise awareness and spread the word of the work that they do.
Assets included a new logo for “The Big Sleepout” along with some social media content.

From creating a colour palette that compliments the brand existing features to experimenting with social media design, I enjoyed pushing myself with this one 😁

Happy World Graphic Design Day! ✏️ 🎉 Today, I thought I’d take a break from sharing my designs and show you the face behind the account. Here are some fun facts about me:

1. I love coffee, I can’t start my day until I’ve had a coconut latte ☕️

2. Following on from that, I’m a part time barista at alongside my university studies

3. I’m currently trying to learn French, although I can’t say I’ll be fluent anytime soon 😂

4. I'm an avid reader and love getting lost in a good book 📚

5. I currently live in a lovely cottage which my partner and I renovated a few years ago (check it out! ) 🏡

6. My favourite music artists are Harry Styles, George Ezra and local legend

7. Italy is my dream holiday destination 🇮🇹

8. I never dreamed of being a graphic designer until lockdown when I filled my free time with creating illustrations for family and friends ✏️

9. I believe that good design has the power to change the world for the better.

Excited to share a recent project for Northamptonshire County Council's upcoming 'Active Quarter'!🚴‍♀️🏄‍♂️🚶‍♂️

From designing a logo and branding to creating wayfinding signage and website interfaces, it's been an incredible experience.

Thrilled to announce that our proposal has been shortlisted and will be on display at Delapre Abbey for public viewing soon!
