Today a student’s life was changed forever and before we even knew of what she was about to deal with, I watched an adult show up with a depth of compassion, support, and love for the student that went way beyond her responsibility. These are the moments that bring a depth of pride for me as a principal. Watching adults show up for the human side of our kids. Before the student left, I gave her a book with a little note, because we don’t know if she will return to school or not. If you have the space please keep this little girl in your thoughts and heart…

These moments are ones that will never leave me and only reinforce the power of one…
