Meta have announced that you can now switch off ads on Facebook and Instagram.
👉 £3.99/month on mobile
👉 £2.99/month on desktop

But what does this actually mean for you?
At the moment, our feeds are filled with more and more paid ads. By paying for this new option, you’ll reduce the amount you see because Facebook will stop using your preferences to target you.

Here’s the other side of this

There’s nothing better at a face-to-face event than meeting people, catching up with others, having real conversations, and spending the day together.

This is one of the reasons I love my event Elevate to Success so much and I remember from last year how proud I felt bringing 100 people together in one room talking, collaborating and connecting it's such an amazing feeling to think you did that.

But more businesses are turning away from attending events as they think that just being on social media is enough to ferment those relationships and create new ones but actually meeting someone face to face helps build that trust and people are more likely to work with you if they have met you.

Social media is amazing, but it can trick us into thinking we don’t need to go to events. We see updates, we comment, we like posts but nothing replaces being in the room.

When it comes to determining the best time to post on social media, there's no right or wrong and the ideal time to post will vary for each business and person.

Think of it this way, from the minute we wake up to the minute we go to sleep most of us are on our phones. Infect recent studies showed we spend at least 7 hours a day on them.

So to be fair as long as you are posting multiple times a day during those hours your audience will see you.

But here are some tips.
