August Meeting don land ooo! 😂🔥

The way every woman in this village is preparing ehhh…

You would think say we are going for African Fashion Week, Olympics and United Nations meeting at the same time! 😭😂

Mama has already started planning her outfit. 👗🔥

Agnes is practicing her dance steps. 💃😂

Ginika is busy collecting gossip like she is preparing a village newspaper. 🗞️😭

And me?

I am preparing my investigation notebook. 🔍😂

Because family members…

This year’s August Meeting will have:

🔥 Gossip competition — who knows the latest village gist?

🥊 Fighting competition — because somebody must misunderstand somebody. 😂

💃 Dancing competition — and we already know Mama will not come to play!

🍲 Food display — everybody bringing food like they are competing for Michelin star. 😭😂

🚗 Car display — suddenly everybody’s husband has become a billionaire. 😂

👗 Fashion show — wrappers, lace, gele and designer everything!

🏆 And of course… the unofficial competition of who came looking the richest! 😭🔥

I can already imagine the whispers:

“Look at her shoe…”

“Did you see her husband’s car?”

“Who cooked this food?”

“Who is that woman dancing like that?” 😂😭

And don’t even get me started on the fights that will start from absolutely nothing. 😭🔥

Because you know say after every August Meeting…

After Mama admitted that she told Ifesinachukwu to block me, I knew somebody had to explain what was really happening.

So I turned to Ginika.

I asked her:

“Ginika, what do you know?”

She kept quiet.

I asked again.

She started crying. 😭

Then she finally said:

“AuntyIFY… Mama didn’t tell you everything.” 😳

FAMILY MEMBERS!!!

I asked:

“What did Mama hide from me?”

Ginika took a deep breath and said:

“Ifesinachukwu didn’t owe you the money because of what you think.”

😭😭😭

I nearly sat down.

Then she confessed…

She was the person who introduced Ifesinachukwu to Mama. 👀

But why?

And what did Mama want from him?

Before Ginika could explain…

Mama walked in.

And she heard everything. 😳

Tonight’s meeting became serious.

Mama took the letter from my hand.

She looked at it.

Read the first line.

Then suddenly…

She started laughing. 😳😂

I asked:

“Mama, why are you laughing?”

She said:

“Because this letter is not what you think.”

Family members…

I looked at Ginika.

Ginika looked terrified. 😭

Agnes suddenly stopped smiling.

Ikenna put down his glass.

Even Alika One Leg stopped drinking! 🍾😭

Mama then said:

“Ifesinachukwu wrote this letter because I asked him to.”

FAMILY MEMBERS!!! 😭🔥

I immediately asked:

“Then why did he block me?”

Mama looked at me…

Paused…

And said:

The whole meeting went silent.

But before Mama could explain WHY…

Mama looked frightened.

I looked at Ginika.

Ginika whispered:
