🦆 Help Us Help Them – The Quack Shack Fundraiser 🐔🦃

As many of you know, The Quack Shack is completely self-funded. We take in birds that are injured, unwanted, abandoned or simply have nowhere else to go, and we do everything we can to give them the care they deserve.
Unfortunately, right now we have several animals needing veterinary care at the same time, alongside some important preparations we need to make for the whole flock.
So, as much as we hate asking, we need a little help. ❤️
Money raised will go towards:
❤️ CHARLEE – Charlee needs leg surgery, and we want to give her the best possible chance of being comfortable and mobile.
💙 HUEY – Huey needs to see the vet to have problems with his knees investigated and find out what treatment he may need.
💜 WONKY – Our Wonky needs ongoing healthcare and treatment, and we want to continue giving her everything she needs for as long as she needs it.
🩵 TAILS – After being hit by a car, Tails needs a further appointment to assess his leg and make sure we're doing everything possible for his recovery.
🦃 A TURKEY HOUSE – We need to build suitable accommodation for our turkeys so that they have a safe, secure place if another Avian Influenza housing order (“flockdown”) is introduced. Apparently Gary and Jingle now require their own turkey residence… 😂
🩺 HEALTH & MEDICAL CHECKS – We also have upcoming DEFRA testing and want to make sure any birds we're concerned about have the appropriate health checks beforehand.
With so many animals here, veterinary bills and the everyday cost of running the rescue add up incredibly quickly. We fund their food, bedding, medication, housing, maintenance and veterinary care ourselves, but occasionally everything seems to arrive at once – and this is one of those times.
We don't expect anyone to donate, particularly when we know money is tight for so many people. Even £1, £2 or £5 genuinely helps when lots of people come together.
And if you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated.
Every penny raised will be used towards the animals and the things we need to keep them safe, healthy and cared for.
