Episode 25 - The Norfolk Business Show - Bob Norman - Broadland Radio

In this episode of the Norfolk Business Show, we’re joined by Bob Norman — Ex Managing Director of Radio Broadland. Now about to relaunch the station under the name "Broadland" using ex Radio Norfolk and Radio Broadland presenters Rob Chandler, Stephen Bumfrey, Jono Woodward, Hannah Clarkson, Chris Skinner to name but a few.

Hear Bob's colourful background where after leaving UEA he joined local firm KPMG. Having become a senior manager at KPMG he was drawn into the radio industry initially as Finance Director for East Anglian Radio which at the time owned Radio Broadland, Orwell and Saxon Radio.

Bob became MD of Radio Broadland in 1997. Through buyouts Bob worked for a further 15 years eventually under the umbrella of Global Media or Bauer Media. After managing multiple radio stations across the country retired in 2022.

Now, having obtained a license from OFCOM, is about to relaunch Radio Broadland. A vibrant, upbeat and local station using key ex-presenters from Radio Broadland and Radio Norfolk.
