Bad company can slowly influence your decisions, habits, attitude, finances, relationships, and even the way you see life. Sometimes you don’t notice the change until you’ve gone further in the wrong direction than you intended.

Unpopular opinion: Not every friendship is supposed to last forever.

We’re often taught that “real friends” stay for life, but is that actually realistic? People change. Priorities shift. Life takes us in different directions. Sometimes the person who was perfect for one chapter of your life simply doesn’t fit into the next one.

And maybe that’s okay.

A friendship ending doesn’t automatically mean someone was fake, disloyal, or a bad person. Some friendships are transitional. They help us survive certain seasons, teach us important lessons, and sometimes even help us discover who we are.

The difficult part is knowing when to fight for a friendship and when to respectfully let it go.

Life won’t always give us reasons to smile. There will be struggles, disappointments, and days when things simply don’t go as planned. But happiness doesn’t mean you have a perfect life, it means choosing to appreciate the good that still exists. ❤️

Protect your joy. Laugh when you can, celebrate the little wins, spend time with people who bring you peace, and don’t postpone happiness until everything is perfect.

A happier life can bring more peace of mind, strengthen relationships, reduce everyday stress, and help us face difficult seasons with a better perspective. 🌸✨
