The mighty Luxury Stranger were in the studio yesterday where Simon York put down vocals for The Empty, which will feature on the new album Above And Below…

This album promises to be their darkest yet most commercially acceptable record - and there’s still much more to come afterwards! The band has really retained its strength despite recent horrific pitfalls, and still maintained its sense of progression and development… Good work! 👏👏👏👏👏

As part of our 'getting everything out there' process, here's a bonus track (it's actually four tracks merged into one) from Simon York's 2012 Other Voices EP sessions.

The Luxury Stranger frontman says, "I went through a period of hearing certain sounds from my dreams... I'm not sure I replicated them exact but by using some of my learning from when I studied methods used in Improvised Music as part of my time in University, I reckon I got about as close as I could. There's still one big sound (which was accompanied by a blood-red cloud-filled sky) that I'm still trying to recreate – I'm sure I'll get it one day..."

All seems to be fixed with our supplier's website now. Apologies for any inconvenience... We've taken the time to tweak what's on the store – some items have been retired and new items will be going up soon!

Just a quick note to let you know that our merch store is back online – some background issues were going on with our supplier's website. This all seems to have calmed down now...

As we (and LS) mentioned, there’s been some re-jigging of our digital distribution. First test of our supplier was done with Simon York’s “Uh-Huh…” album, which is now out all over the world via digital streaming until he dies. Next stage is replacing the Luxury Stranger classic Empty Men which came down on 12th September. This will be the second test with our new supplier and should be up by 3rd October - new links will be supplied on the day! This will also then remain available worldwide for digital streaming until Simon York dies…

Buy it physical - keep it FOREVER…
