As part of our re-package / re-distribution project, Nothing Holy by progressive post-punk / rock band Luxury Stranger finally gets its first full digital release this coming Friday!

Originally released in 2012 and bringing a more melodic feel to LS’ work and showing how LS means to progress. Nothing Holy is backed with the classic and haunting LS song Ripple, which was debuted at WGW Festival in 2011 - hinting that the darkness never leaves LS…

Luxury Stranger is possibly one of the most accessible bands today - creating music since that could potentially top the mainstream charts while still having the want to retain an intimate connection with fans from all parts of the music spectrum while never truly being left stale in a ‘genre box’.

This Friday (14 Nov) sees the full digital release of Simon (Luxury Stranger) York's 2012 album Nothing's Ever Quite What You Thought It Would Be!

As part of Earth-Two Records' re-release/distribution project, this album has been re-jigged and repackaged for both digital distribution / streaming and physical release...

This album was originally promoted via a set of solo shows, some of which where Simon opened for The March Violets as well as Miles Hunt of The Wonderstuff, and is a key marker in the Luxury Stranger timeline as this record helped shape the style and writing for LS' Darkness Falls Upon The Light album.

Friday 14th November sees the full digital release of Simon (Luxury Stranger) York’s 2012 solo album Nothing’s Ever Quite What You Thought It Would Be. This album was originally released shortly after the Other Voices and supported with a batch of solo shows by Simon, some of which were as supports to The March Violets, as well as Miles Hunt of The Wonderstuff!

This album was originally promoted by Simon playing solo live shows opening for likes of The March Violets and The Wonderstuff's Mile Hunt!

For timeline followers, this album was the follow-up to Simon's Other Voices EP, as well as the pre-curser to the Luxury Stranger album Darkness Falls Upon The Light.
