A man who chose to stand between God and His people
A servant who listened to sins, offered mercy, and carried burdens that were not his own
And he was taken while hearing confession.
Let that sink in.
This is not just a tragedy.
This is a painful reminder of the world we are living in where even the sacred is no longer respected.
A priest didn’t die chasing wealth.
He didn’t die in comfort.
He died serving right at the altar of mercy.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Today, we don’t just mourn
We reflect.
We pray.
We ask hard questions.
If a man of God is not safe in the house of God then what is happening to us?
