One of the largest, scariest and most highly rated ghost trains in the county is back at Nottingham Goose Fair this year!

Jamie Whiting’s Ghost Train can be found on the top row facing the Pavilion this year.

The long ride features a spiral lift, a roller coaster drop, lots of special effects and live actors makes this ride a firm favourite over the years and why it has been voted the best side attraction at not only Nottingham Goose Fair in the past, but most recent at Scotland’s biggest fair - Kirkcaldy Links Market in April this year!

Nottingham Goosw Fair returns - starting Friday 26th September until Sunday 5th October!

This is an interesting piece of Sawley history, which is helping Senior Citizens today.
Two young guys, years ago, who did well for themselves and wanted share their good fortune with those less well off in their home area.
They started out by donating bags of coal to those that needed it.
Now it supports fuel costs of a different kind!
The Sawley Charities, originally set up by them - now helps Sawley Senior Citizens with their Winter Fuel Bills.
If you’re eligible call in to The Co op on Draycott Road, or the Post Office on Tamworth Road - and pick up an application form
Sawley Friendship Club is pleased to support this initiative by the Sawley Charities and the willingness of the Co-op and the Post Office in promoting this good cause.
We urge everyone to promote this.
🙂

Sawley Friendship Club is asking for your help in reaching out to senior citizens who are lonely, or feeling isolated.
The Friendship Club regularly reaches out to around 80 Sawley Senior Citizens and has made a difference in bringing people together- but they want to do more.
Will you help them.
If you know someone who might benefit from the support by Sawley Friendship Club- please pvt message their details to one of the committee members listed below.
Don’t put details in comments
