Martial Arts return to Nottingham for their UK tour on the back of the newly released From the Burn Off EP. Emerging from Manchester and the ever-growing No Band Is An Island collective, the five-piece have built their reputation on tense, angular post-punk rooted in the UK DIY circuit, drawing on a shared ecosystem of experimental indie, spoken urgency, and art-rock drive.

Drury Hill


Drury Hill are a four-piece between Nottingham and Leeds, making soft rock, slacker pop and post-folk songs with a distinctly DIY vibe. Following their Nottingham-made EP Fields, the band signed to Leeds label Private Regcords in 2026, releasing Eye To Eye / River — two songs marking a quieter, more considered turn in their sound.

Leeds collective HONESTY blur the lines between club music, shoegaze and electronic experimentation. Formed by George Mitchell, Matt Peel, Josh Lewis and Imi Marston, their sound moves between ambient textures, garage rhythms and rave-adjacent intensity. Their debut album U R HERE arrived in 2025 via Partisan Records.

Bathing Suits fuse noise rock, techno and industrial abrasion into something equal parts confrontation and release. Loud, physical and relentlessly danceable, their live shows thrive on tension, volume and sheer momentum.

TERZA RIMA


Terza Rima make understated guitar pop from Nottingham. Echoes of The Wake, Orange Juice and Her’s run through the songs, but so does a sense of place: city centres after dark, empty streets, familiar faces and the strange poetry of everyday life. Built around chiming guitars and melodic basslines, their music favours patience and atmosphere over immediacy.

arrive this Saturday with a sound shaped by hardware, repetition and beautifully strange influences. Fighter plane engines, hospital machinery, pirate radio and industrial electronics all find their way into the Leeds duo’s world.

Signed to Private Regcords, Bella and Maz operate somewhere between EBM and darkwave, favouring physical hardware over laptop production. The result is music that feels tactile, immediate and alive.

Their double single Heaven Sent / Sure Shot locks into relentless rhythms, with detached vocals floating above elastic basslines and evolving electronics. Influences range from DAF, Severed Heads and Throbbing Gristle to NEU!, Tangerine Dream and Aphex Twin, but KiosK never feel like the sum of their references.

Part of Leeds’ thriving underground scene, they’ve built a sound that belongs entirely to them, existing somewhere between the battle, the hospital and the dancefloor.

“I hope they start moving is all. I wanna see everyone dance.”

bring their relentless live show this Saturday. Born from Leeds’ basement circuit, their early gigs were twenty minutes of noise, distortion and dancefloor chaos, built around one mantra: always dancey, always loud, always sexy.

Part of the same creative ecosystem as KiosK and HONESTY, Bathing Suits focus on something more immediate: getting bodies moving. Their sound, often described as “industrial trance”, crashes together pounding techno, post-punk abrasion and pop hooks.

Their KILL Bathing Suits EP, produced by Benny Howell, balances Berlin club rigour with Leeds DIY ferality, while the visual side of the project is just as important. Lighting, fashion and aesthetics aren’t decoration, they’re part of the structure.

Everything is intentional. Nothing is polite.

HONESTY hand it back,
transformed.

Leeds-based collective HONESTY create with a single aim: self-acceptance. A sonically masterful blend of genre-bending synth and rock, as at home on an indie stage as it is on a dance floor. “Euphoric and ugly at the same time, communal but also deeply lonely.” In mapping these contradictions, they track the uneven terrain of young adulthood alongside you.

Their sound refuses genre classification, as does everything about them. There’s no pressure to fit neatly into one identity or role. Most of the four-piece grew up in guitar bands, indie rock the usual binary, yet pirate radio, rave culture and visual art all bled through. The move away from traditional band structure was part of a wider aim.

Pairing releases with visual art, HONESTY treat it as “part of the emotional language of the project”. Their work with designers explores the fluid space between art and music, with no hard border between where one ends and the other begins. Live, that extends into visuals, lighting, AV and rotating collaborators, creating an immersive environment you disappear into rather than simply watch.

Everyone brings different experiences, cultures, tastes and emotions into the process. The friction builds something no single person could make alone, resisting any echo chamber.

“The live show now feels less like recreating songs and more like building an environment people can disappear into for however long we have onstage.”

Even in darker moments, there’s a sense of transcendence. HONESTY’s music holds space for projection, from club detachment to night bus stillness, those in-between transitional spaces.
