I am whipping up cakes and bakes that are so good, they’ll make you forget your name (but not your second slice). Hi, I’m Yvette, the Queen of Cakes and the proud face behind Ma Bakes My Cakes! What started as a love for baking in 2020 has turned into a full-blown cake revolution right here in London (Bromley). Whether it’s a country's national cake that makes you go “WOW,” a batch of cookies so good they should be illegal, or a custom creation that is as airy and soft to the tongue as it gets, I’m here to make your sweetest dreams come true. A dash of creativity, a bucket of humour, and a whole lot of love. Oh, and maybe a little bit of butter, whether milk-based or plant-based. Okay, a lot of butter :)

When I’m not elbow-deep in flour, you’ll find me brainstorming wild cake designs, laughing at my own puns (“Life’s batter with cake!”), and convincing myself that eating cake for breakfast is totally acceptable. Spoiler: it is. So, whether you’re planning a party, craving a treat, or just here for the cake memes, you’re in the right place. Let’s bake the world a better place—one slice at a time! 🎂

Red velvet cupcakes with pomegranate ruby choc ganache (made with prime Belgian ruby chocolate) topped with pomegranates and Dutch red currants.
