"Clive and I have worked together for many years to develop the very successful Oxford Flute Summer School. Now though his own business, Clive Conway Productions, occupies much of his time he is still a valued Consultant for the summer school. His business is very high profile, working as he does with world leaders and internationally influential politicians as well as actors and musicians. He has much to contribute to any field of endeavour." Janet Way, Artistic Director, Oxford Flute Summer School. "I have known Clive Conway for more than a decade. He is that rare bird, a committed professional musician (a flautist) who also has a head for business matters. He has a sure sense of people and of issues in which the general public will be interested enough to pay real money in order to learn more. It's clear from a glance at his list of speakers that he's
enlisted some of the highest profile public speakers in the land. And he chooses appropriate venues for such appearances, ranging from university assembly rooms to the Royal Festival Hall. Clive is driven by a burning desire to share with the man in the street the talents and inspiration of such impressive public figures as Tony Benn and Desmond Tutu, not to mention Henry Blofeld and Richard Dawkins. He gets his "buzz" from bringing people of like minds together to produce an exciting event, be it a High Table debate or a major artistic production such as a recital combining great music and fine poetry or prose delivered by performers of the highest calibre." Humphrey Burton, former Head of Music and Arts at BBC Television
Biographer of Leonard Bernstein, Yehudi Menuhin and William Walton"

‘The second performance of Admission: One Shilling with star actress Patricia Routledge and international concert pianist Piers Lane also received a standing ovation and very high audience acclaim. Again many thanks for making this project possible in Belgium! It was so good working together with your company and I really hope we can get some more Belgian bookings for this show. The company was so great and down to earth and the theatre much enjoyed working on this project.’

Many will remember John as one of Britain’s most popular and respected broadcasters and authors. His award-winning career in journalism has spanned decades and seen him report on some of the most significant moments in British public life.

In recent years, John has returned to his first love — light entertainment — and can be seen regularly on programmes such as The One Show, Have I Got News For You, QI, Room 101 and The News Quiz. And of course, there were those unforgettable appearances on Strictly Come Dancing!

Sergeant’s two-left-feet approach to the ballroom made him a firm favourite with viewers. He left the show in Week 10 saying:

“The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far.”

More recently, he’s presented well-received documentaries including John Sergeant’s Tourist Trail, Tracks of Empire and Britain’s First Photo Album.

Many will remember John as one of Britain's most popular and respected broadcasters and authors. His award-winning career as a political journalist has been as lengthy as it has been successful and has seen him interview big political hitters like Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher, John Major and Tony Blair.

In recent years though, John has returned to his first love of light entertainment and can be seen regularly on programmes like The One Show, Have I Got News For You, QI, Room 101 and The News Quiz—and of course, there were those appearances on Strictly...

Indeed, Sergeant’s two-left-feet approach to the arts of the ballroom consistently found him at the bottom of the judges' scoreboard, but the public loved him and he returned week after week. He finally left the show in Week 10 saying:
"The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far."

More recently there have been well-received documentaries as well, including John Sergeant's Tourist Trail, Tracks of Empire—about the Indian Railways—and Britain's First Photo Album, about the pioneering photography of Francis Frith.
