My job is terrible, I tell you. If there was an HR department to complain to, complain I would. It's taken me two days of calming down to be able to post about my experience on Monday.

I hate to do a site visit for the upcoming wedding at Tremenheere. It was truly awful

Hello lovely humans! Sorry that it's been a while since I did an update...but I think we all know I'm quite rubbish at this social media mullarkey!

Anyways, what have you been up to Kate? Well, imaginary chum, I shall tell you. I'm currently working on a selection pack of weddings for the summer. The first one is, excitingly, next week and it's at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens inside the Skyspace. I'm a giddy kipper to be conducting a ceremony within a piece of actual art!

I have also been accepted as a speaker for the W.I. in Cornwall and have taken two bookings thus far. I'd just done my audition when I last posted. Apologies if you've been on tenterhooks since then...

There have been other excitements too but I wouldn't want to overwhelm you!

As I don't have any pics of me writing or having meetings, here are two of my recent trip to Plymouth to see the Beryl Cook exhibition at The Box. It was fabulous, as was the chance to interact with the characters dotted around the city!

I am in a fake fur skirt, fake fur trainers and a black jumper. The second pic is me sitting on the lap of a sailor statue down by the Dolphin pub. I am wearing the same outfit but also a mahoosive bright pink fake fur coat. The sailor has his arms crossed and looks unimpressed.

Well, today was a busy old day. A busy and very soggy day.

Earlier I did an audition to become a W.I speaker. I talked about all sorts of things celebrant related. I over ran and had to do apologising! I shall wait and see if I get accepted.

Then a quick outfit change and onto Treswithian Downs where I conducted a service for a lovely lady. Sadly, I conducted her husband's funeral last year. Some comfort was drawn by the fact that they are together again. It was an honour to be asked to take Meg's service.

I'm now on my settee eating some chocolate, as Galaxy was Meg's favourite. No other reason. Obviously!

All set up and ready to go for the SouthWest Lovefest in that there Somerset. There are about 70 alternative/quirky/fabulous suppliers here in this big old barn of a place. I'm hoping to get a look around at some point.

I've already met some smashing celebrants...there are a lot of us out here in the wild!

Being an auction centre there is a bit of a whiff of farmyard creature and unlikely signage for a wedding fair (see the last pic!)
