Hello, from the otherside..
Hello, it’s been a while… !! 🎙️
No sooner had we got the DB Studio at Helensfield up and running, we moved… 🏡 😜 🤯
We are now very settled in the beautiful Scottish Borders, just outside Hawick, and we felt it was time to kick off the ‘music’ 1/3rd of DB again 🎷 🥁 🎶
A huge amount of hard work, sweat, tears 😭, beer and gin went in to converting an old damp stable block into a fabulous music recording and production studio! As well as just a great place to hang out!
‘Andy sax’s’ morning mantra very quickly became “well it’s not going to do itself…!” But he did! 🌟
After 3 solid self build diy months in crazy rain and Borders wind (with ‘A Little Help from (our) Friends’ - 🙏 James and Rob!!) we now have an amazing space that offers a beautifully quiet and relaxing place for musical inspiration and creativity!
Deliberately keeping this first ‘restart’ post short so just a few pics of the ‘before and after’ but we promise to keep you all up to date with what’s ahead!
