This week on The Local Lowdown, sponsored by Aberdeen Foyer, we were joined by Keith from the Peterhead Darts Academy. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ

Although the academy has only been running for six months, itโ€™s already making a huge impact on young people in Peterhead โ€” creating opportunities, building confidence, and nurturing local talent. ๐Ÿ’ช

Keith spoke about how the academy started, the incredible progress so far, and the support theyโ€™ve received through sponsorships with Winmau and a partnership with the JDC, which have helped young players attend tournaments and gain valuable experience on the competitive stage. ๐Ÿ†

We also chatted about the young peopleโ€™s journeys, the good news stories coming out of the academy, future plans, and Keithโ€™s own darts background โ€” including going up against some of the greats like Gary Anderson! ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ”ฅ
