On Friday morning, my cousin, her partner & their little one year old was woken up in the most terrifying way possible. As a fire engulfed the hallway outside their apartment in the middle of the night right around the corner from my own house.

They helped assist others above to get out as well before emergency services arrived shortly after. They don’t know when they will be able to retrieve what’s left of their belongings & are having to get by with what they managed to grab on the way out.

There’s a GoFund me set up to help the families affected by the fire. I don’t normally do these types of posts. But if anyone is in a position to donate to help assist the families and would like to donate, here is the link - gofund.me/894b48bd5
