I have a confession to make...

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus Pawb!

Today in Wales is St David's Day. Not only does it signify the beginning of spring, it also celebrates our Welsh heritage, language and culture.

We have events called Eisteddfods which showcase poetry and singing in the Welsh language and these are performed all over Wales, there's even a national Eisteddfod!

So today, get some daffodils and leeks, treat yourself to some Welsh cakes and bara brith and enjoy the start of spring 🌼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

⚠️ Endometriosis Awareness ⚠️

I have been speaking to a wonderful woman about endometriosis and I never realized how horrific this disease is.

I knew it was extremely painful and I have always felt for women who have suffered with this but I did not know the extent of this disease.

More awareness is needed around this, more safe spaces for women to discuss this our desperately needed.

If you suffer from this awful disease, you aren't alone and this page and my group is open for you!

Yesterday my eldest wanted to take me on a special walk that he had found around our area.
I'll be honest I really didn't fancy it but he was so excited and it was special to just have one on one time with him.

I'm so glad that I went because it was beautiful and it really brought me back to my own childhood when I used to go exploring in the woods. The most special part there was the excitement that he had to share this special place with me. So now we are planning to do more walks together like that.

Happy Sunday!

Yesterday I went to Hay-on-Wye and it was amazing 😍 I particularly love this bookshop with it's creaky floorboards and old bookshelves and I just lost myself for hours in there!
