I’m Craig Needham – but when the lights drop and the bass kicks in, you’ll know me as DJ AMO.

My journey into DJing began during one of the most uncertain times the world has ever seen – right at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown. While everything around us came to a standstill, music became my escape, my focus, and eventually my calling. What started with spinning mainstream house in my bedroom quickly turned into something bigger – a relentless passion for sound that took me into the worlds of tech house, bounce, trance, hardcore, and even the darker, grittier edges of electronic music.

But my love for music didn’t start there. From a young age, I was obsessed with sound – I dreamed of becoming a vocalist and spent years learning instruments, chasing melodies, rhythms, and the feeling only music could give me. That childhood fire still drives every set I play.

BeatLabUK was born out of that same passion – not just as a platform for me, but as a space for other DJs and music lovers to connect, grow, and build something real together.
I wanted to create a community – a proper home for underground sound where we can share sets, exchange ideas, and support one another in pushing the scene forward. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been behind the decks for years, this is a place where your passion matters.

If you’re into high-energy bounce, driving tech, emotional trance, or anything in between – you’re in the right place. Expect raw sets, powerful vibes, and a crew of people who live for that feeling when the bass drops and everything else fades away.
