We had a very special day at Rainbow Hub last weekend. Elsie won the end of year award for commitment and dedication! 🎉🏆
As a family, we’d just like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Rainbow Hub for the incredible support they give us and for how far they have helped Elsie to come, since she started there in October last year. She thinks the world of her conductor Becca and Jackie who assists in her class, Jo Jo and Michelle, as well as all the staff who have made her so welcome, we would be lost without them 🥰
When we first started conductive education, Elsie rarely opened her hands and completely refused to grasp or be interested in toys at all. She now has started to not just hold toys, but to pick them up herself and to play with them independently! Her stepping has improved so much too, she has gone from reluctantly walking whilst holding the ladder to going through the bars! 💖
