FPV offers a perspective that standard videography can’t. It takes viewers through a property in one continuous shot, making it easier to understand the layout, the flow between rooms and the overall space.

It’s not a replacement for traditional video, it’s another tool that adds something different and helps a listing stand out.

Just start. The rest comes later.

I left a well paid job to start my own business. Looking back, it was probably one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken.

It hasn’t been easy.

I’ve had to learn everything myself. Camera settings, photography, filming, editing, colour grading, flying drones, using AI… pretty much everything. Then on top of that you’ve got to learn how to actually run a business.

There’s also the side that nobody really talks about. Chasing people for invoices. Jobs getting cancelled at the last minute. Weeks where your phone barely rings and you start questioning whether you’ve done the right thing.

But honestly… I don’t regret it for a second.

If you’re thinking about starting something, just know it won’t happen overnight. You might not get your first client for weeks. You might have quiet months. You might even wonder if it’s worth carrying on.

Just keep going.

Keep learning, keep improving and don’t compare yourself to everyone else. The people you look up to all started somewhere too.

If I could give one bit of advice, it’d be this…

Just start. The rest comes later.
