🛠 COLOUR CORRECTION 🛠

Today I had the honour of doing a colour correction for the lovely

She's been wanting a "teddy bronde" base with "very ash" highlights but felt like she always came out a lot blonder and a lot warmer than her goal, so she asked me to work my magic! 🥹

I'd never done highlights or lowlights before, nor had I ever done a full head of foils. My comfort zone is in scalp bleaching and vivids, so this was totally new territory for me and I'm not gunna lie, I was super nervous 😬

39 foils and 4.5hrs later, I think I nailed it! 😏

Liv finally has the look she's been looking for and oh my goodness, the results are stunning 😍

✂️ CORRECTIVE CUT & K18 REPAIR TREATMENT ✂️

I love a challenge, so for my first ever full cut on a client, of course I went with a corrective cut 😏

Today's client (my bestie) came to me after having her hair cut elsewhere last week, feeling very unhappy with the results once she'd had a chance to wash and style it at home.

Her vision was long, shaggy/textured layers to create movement and shape, but she was left with chunky, one-sided layers and a lot of unevenness 😱

We started with a full K18 Repair Service to help restore the condition of her hair after years of bleaching (how beautiful is that colour though?!) and WOW, the results were fantastic. The chelator removed a tonne of heavy metal residue from washing in hard water, removing some of the unwanted warmth, whilst the repair mist + mask left her hair feeling soft, tangle free and strong AF!

She wanted to maintain as much length as possible (they'd already cut about 4-5" off previously 😬) so my plan was to even out the existing layers and remove weight in the areas that were a lil too chunky, all whilst preserving the thickness and length on the ends.

After what felt like a lifetime of careful, precision cutting and many prayers to the hair gods, she left feeling so much more like herself, with the look she originally wanted 😍

Her hair will grow out much more evenly now and is so much more wearable (which is the goal in corrections, perfection doesn't exist!)

For my first full cut on a client, I'm super pleased with the results! What do you think?!
