Hello, Wobbly Phil here.

You probably already know that I've been on an extended hiatus (sounds like the name of one of those obscure motorcycles from the 1920s), carefully crafting a three part series on the downfall of the British bike industry.

As we rush towards the Yuletide festivities, I'm relieved to be able to tell you that Part One is ready. It drops on YouTube tomorrow, Christmas Eve, at 1200 London o'clock.

There was a lot to get my head around, which is why it's taken so long. Parts Two and Three are still in development, but I hope to have those ready for your eyeballs and lugholes in the not-too-distant future.

So, just in time for you to escape from the grandkids shouting at the Nintendo Switch 2s they got for Christmas, and creep out to your shed after the turkey and trimmings for a mince pie and a nip of 3Phils!

All that remains is for me to wish you a very merry Christmas! Hopefully you'll get a chance to get out on your steeds, perhaps on Boxing Day. I know there are a few clubs here in the UK that organise a Boxing Day rideout. Safe riding!
