Let me give you one small morning gist that can save you from big wahala.
So last week, my neighbour Aunty Stella ; you know the one that always wears tight jeans and walks like she’s in a music video – started feeling somehow “down there.”
She said it was itching, and there was some white discharge. She thought it was heat, but the thing didn’t stop.
She ran to Mama Nneka, our trusted mama that knows everything about herbs and women’s health.
Mama Nneka just laughed and said,
“My daughter, you’ve invited vaginal thrush by yourself!”
Here’s what Mama Nneka told her and I want every lady reading this to hear it too
Stop wearing tight clothes and nylon pants every day.
That area needs to breathe. When it’s too hot and sweaty, yeast will grow.Let your body breathe, sis!
Stop washing too much with strong soap or Dettol.
That place cleans itself. Using harsh soap can remove the good bacteria that protect you.
Just warm water and mild soap is enough.
Don’t take antibiotics anyhow.
If you take too many, they’ll kill the good bacteria and leave room for thrush to come in. Always ask your doctor first.
Too much sugar is a silent trigger.
Yeast loves sugar. All those sweets, soft drinks, and cakes? Thrush says thank you. Balance your diet, drink water!
Don’t share pants or towels.
Please, let your underwear be your own. You don’t know what’s hiding on someone else’s.Protect your private parts!
Reduce stress.
Stress weakens your immune system, and before you know it, infection will enter.
Rest is not a luxury ;it’s necessity
Aunty Stella followed this advice, and within a few days, she felt better. Now she’s walking normal again – no scratching, no shame.
See eeh as a lady, looking after yourself is not just self-care , it’s self-respect.
Your body is your first home, treat it like royalty.
Small habits, big difference. Stay fresh, stay confident, stay in control!
