Although it doesn't appear to be affecting the Berkshire area particularly badly at the moment, there has been an issue in certain areas with Freeview reception and you are advised in the event of some new channel breakup to not retune your TV, as the problems should disappear after a short period.

"Freeview viewers across the UK could see some disruption to their TV reception from Wednesday the 15th to Sunday 19th January 2025. This is due to high pressure which could disrupt the TV signals which Freeview uses.

You are advised not to retune your TV during this time - reception will be restored once the high pressure passes."

An interesting article on the switching off of Terrestrial and Satellite TV broadcasting. It could well be an expensive exercise for the consumer, particularly elderly viewers and those in remote areas.

A new report claims that 31% of viewers could not afford the additional costs needed to allow a switch to internet broadcasting.

The business end of this week's installation on a block of 22 apartments in Wallingford, all apartments will have the ability to install their Sky Q box and or Terrestrial Freeview digital TV, FM and DAB radio. Just started on the internal system.:)

Two compact Serage IP cameras fitted today for security, covering the exterior access points and a very compact internal wide angle camera covering both rear BiFold glazed entrances to the property. The two external cameras offer full colour at night and will zero in on pedestrians and faces. Needless to say the customers love having the ability to check their property when out and about.
