As the excitement of yesterday’s Semi-Finals continued, our team also spoke with one Senior Staff of Maranatha Primary School, Mr. Lusanie Abu, one of the schools proudly advancing to the Grand Final of the Regent Recreational Center Management Committee Inter Primary & Secondary School Girls Football Competition.

Mr. Abu expressed how delighted he feels for the school to be part of such a meaningful competition, emphasizing that this platform gives young girls the opportunity to showcase their talent and passion for football. He said he was truly glad to see Maranatha Primary School make it all the way to the final.

With confidence and pride, Maranatha now looks forward to the Grand Final, ready to compete and represent their school

During yesterday’s thrilling Semi-Finals of the Regent Recreational Center Management Committee Inter Primary & Secondary School Girls Football Competition, our team caught up with the Vice Principal of Cardiff Academy Junior Secondary School, Mr. Elijah James.

Filled with pride and excitement, Mr. James expressed how overjoyed he is to see his pupils advance to the Grand Final. He confidently stated that Cardiff Academy is fully prepared and determined to lift the trophy, highlighting the hard work and discipline of the team.

He also commended the organizers for introducing such a powerful initiative to promote Girls Football, noting that platforms like this help young girls build confidence, discipline, and a passion for sports.

With strong support from their school leadership, Cardiff Academy steps into the final with high hopes and unshakable belief.

Yesterday’s Semi-Finals delivered one of the most emotional moments of the tournament. Cardiff Academy Junior Secondary School secured their place in the Grand Final, but it was their captain, Blessing Eliot, who touched every heart at the Regent Recreational Center.

Overwhelmed with joy, Blessing burst into tears as she spoke to our reporter, Aiah Makieu, expressing how much this achievement means to her, her teammates, and her school. Her emotions reflected the passion, dedication, and determination these young girls have poured into the competition.

The Management Committee applauds all schools for their outstanding performances and celebrates the inspiring spirit displayed by these young athletes. As we move into the Grand Final, the excitement continues to build, may the best team lift the trophy!
