Three bonnets, one beautiful pattern 🧶✨

I had the absolute pleasure of test knitting this gorgeous bonnet pattern in different sizes and yarns — as I couldn’t stop after just one! 🤭

From tiny newborn to a slightly bigger 0–3 months size, it was so lovely to see how the shape and details came together in each version.

I absolutely loved knitting this pattern. The construction is clever, the fit is beautiful and those little ties just make it extra adorable. 🥹

I’m so grateful to Agasalhos e Bugalhos® Knitting Patterns by Sandra Magalhães for inviting me to test this beautiful newborn bonnet. Thank you for your trust and for designing such a lovely pattern!

It was a joy watching this bonnet come to life, and I couldn’t be happier with the finished result. I’ve also seen all the other versions knitted by the testers and they are all amazing - in each colour!

People often ask me what this little corner of Instagram is actually about.

Is it a knitting page?
A place to buy handmade baby props?
A slow-living journal?
Or simply a hobby that brings me joy?

The answer is… all of it.

This is where I share the quiet moments behind every stitch. The beauty of creating something by hand. The tiny details that make handmade so special. The newborn bonnets and props that begin as a ball of yarn and become part of a family’s first memories.

But you’ll also find the things that inspire my creativity—peaceful mornings, flowers on my balcony, cosy corners, cups of coffee, beautiful textures, and the slower rhythm of everyday life. Because creativity doesn’t start with knitting needles; it starts with the way we choose to see the world.

I don’t believe handmade is just about the finished product. It’s about the process, the patience, the imperfect moments, and the joy of creating something meaningful.

13 feels like such a big milestone, so this year we wanted to give her something she wouldn’t outgrow.

Instead of filling a gift bag, we filled a scrapbook. ❤️

Every page holds a voucher, a date, an adventure, or a promise to spend intentional time together. Some are simple, some are special—but every single one is about making memories.

Because years from now, she probably won’t remember every gift she received… but we’re hoping she’ll remember how she felt.

If you’re looking for a birthday idea for your own kids, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s personal, meaningful, and honestly one of my favourite gifts we’ve ever given.
