Five-Fifteen Productions are excited to announce that our short film, Meeting Point, has been nominated for an award at the 2025 Midlands Movies awards!

Our writer, George S. Evans, has earned a nomination for Best Writing (Original or Adapted Screenplay).

This marks our second consecutive year at the festival, and we are thrilled to return, showcasing our passion for creativity and the arts within the area.

A well-crafted script is the backbone of any film, guiding the narrative and shaping the characters, and we are so pleased that this integral part of the film production process has been recognised.

This nomination is not just a celebration of one person’s hard work but of the collaborative effort that brought Meeting Point to life and therefore we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this project and to our audience for your unwavering support.

We also wish to congratulate our fellow nominees on their hard work and dedication to the art form.

Our most recent film, Meeting Point, has been awarded ★ ★ ★ ★’s from the British International Amateur Film Festival and has also received three nominations across various categories.

After a screening at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham, the category award winners will be announced during the BIAFF Festival Dinner and Awards Show.

We want to extend our biggest thank you to the judging panel for all of your time, feedback, and recognition.

Congratulations to the cast and crew for receiving these award nominations, and a special mention goes to Julia Bentley, who was recognised as Best Actress in the first round.

We are all incredibly proud of this achievement and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Meeting Point as the 2025 festival season begins!🏅🎬

Here is the full editing timeline of our brand new film, Meeting Point!🤩💻

The short has been coloured, edited, composited, and rendered entirely in Davinci Resolve Studio.

Alongside this Blackmagic Design software, we have used the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K in order to bring industry standards to a low budget project, whilst simultaneously maintaining high quality results across all fields of post-production.
