It’s funny how much perspective can change everything, isn’t it? 💭

I used to think…
“If I mess up, I’ve failed.”
“I’m falling behind.”
“I’m too much.”

But lately, I’ve been reminding myself…
✨ Mistakes mean I’m learning.
✨ I’m right on time for my own life.
✨ I’m allowed to take up space.

Sometimes it’s not about doing more or being better — it’s just about seeing things differently🤎

🎉 Today I turn 25!
And while I’m still figuring it out (aren’t we all?), here’s what 6 years in business with Socials with Aim has taught me…

Let me just start with saying, when I first started, I never imagined I’d end up here: running a business full-time, working with amazing women, and being my own boss.

Here’s some things I’ve learnt along the way…

💡 1. You are your own boss.
You don’t have to say yes to every enquiry. You don’t have to work for pennies or with people who make you uncomfortable. You get to choose who you work with and that’s powerful.

💡 2. Confidence in pricing takes time.
For a long time, I undercharged because I wanted to be affordable (and honestly, I still try to be). I love helping small and start-up businesses; that’s who Socials with Aim was built for. But it’s taken me years to own my worth and know my clients get incredible value for what they pay.

💡 3. Contracts. Contracts. Contracts.
If you’re self-employed, don’t skip this. Get everything in writing: timelines, terms, details. It protects both sides and keeps everything clear.

💡 4. Burnout is real.
Being self-employed is amazing, but exhausting. There are no sick days or cover shifts - you are the business. I’ve learned to delegate and outsource where I can because we don’t have to do it all.

💡 5. Don’t be afraid to take up space.
Not everyone will understand what I do- some people still think I “just play on my phone all day.” But I know the impact my work has on my clients, and that’s what matters most.

✨ So, here’s to 25
This year’s been huge…buying a house, getting engaged, planning a wedding, welcoming a new puppy… and continuing to grow a business I’m proud of.

Everyone’s journey moves at a different pace, both in life and in business. I’m just grateful mine lets me meet amazing people and be part of their stories🤎

It’s only November (somehow?!) but as we edge into the last couple of months of 2025, it’s totally normal to start reflecting on how the year’s gone. Maybe you didn’t tick every single goal off the list, but you still showed up, learned, and grew (even if it sometimes felt like organised chaos 😅). So here’s your gentle reminder: progress isn’t always loud🤎

You don’t need to go viral. You just need to keep doing what’s already working👀

I know, easier said than done😅. When I first started helping small businesses with their socials, I used to think success meant hitting that one viral post - the one that would suddenly make everything take off.

But honestly? That’s not how it works.
What actually makes the biggest difference is staying consistent.
Showing up for your audience.
Sharing your story, your offers, your behind-the-scenes, even when it feels like no one’s listening.

Because the goal isn’t to impress the algorithm, it’s to connect with real people who get what you do and want to support your business.

So if you’ve been feeling a bit lost with your socials lately, take a step back. Look at what’s been working for you and lean into it. Small, consistent actions will always beat one viral moment.

That’s what I help my clients with; finding a rhythm that feels natural, works for them, and actually brings results.

If you’re ready to get your socials working for you (without the burnout or constant guessing), send me a message and let’s chat🤍

Long time no post…👋🏻
It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Let’s just say life (and business) have both been busy, in the best way possible.

Since I last showed my face on here, I’ve been working on some fantastic client projects that have kept me inspired and on my toes.

But that’s not all…
💍 I got engaged to my amazing fiancé (still can’t believe I get to say that!)
🐶 We’re getting a puppy next week - so I’ll officially have a “junior barketing manager” joining the team. Yes, she’s another aussie🥹
🗓️ And yes… the wedding is booked for 2027!

Somewhere in the middle of all that, I realised I haven’t been practising what I preach. I always tell my clients to prioritise balance, but I let myself slip into the “I’ll post when I have time” cycle - and spoiler alert: that time never magically appears.

But you know what? That’s okay.
Because sometimes, you really do need to take a step back - reset, recharge, and come back with a fresh perspective.

At the end of the day, we’re all human. Running a business, managing life, and keeping up with social media is a lot.

So if you’ve been feeling like you’ve fallen off the consistency train lately, consider this your reminder that it’s totally fine to pause and that you can always come back stronger.

Anyway, I’m back, refreshed, and ready to share more behind the scenes, client wins, and marketing goodness with you all again. Here’s a couple of pics from the last few weeks✨

Burnout is real – especially when you are the business🫣

When you’re wearing every hat – the CEO, the marketer, the accountant, the cleaner – it’s easy to run on empty…

This is your reminder that rest is not a weakness.

Stepping back doesn’t mean you’re failing – it means you’re recharging so you can keep going.

Your business needs you at your best, not at your breaking point🤍

☀️ Summer might be wrapping up, but there’s still plenty of time to make this your year - the year you finally got a little helping hand online.

Because here’s the thing: you don’t have to do business (or socials) all on your own.

Whether it’s support with strategy, content creation, or just taking the overwhelm off your shoulders, I’m here to make showing up online feel simple and sustainable🌿

✨ Imagine finishing the year knowing you invested in the growth of your business and gave yourself more time back.

Ready to make it happen? Let’s chat🤍

Running a business is hard enough without feeling like social media is running you😅

I see you - the late nights, the doubts, the juggling act. You’re doing so much, and it’s no wonder social media can feel like just one more thing on your list.

But you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. With a little support, your socials can feel lighter, easier, and even… fun again✨

I’d love to be by your side, helping you share your story in a way that feels natural and gives you time back for the things that matter most💛

AUGUST OVERVIEW🤍

August has been such a whirlwind (in the best way!), so I thought I’d do a little catch-up of what’s been going on behind the scenes…

💻 Smashed some big goals for my lovely clients – nothing better than seeing their socials grow!

🤝🏼Welcomed a brand-new management client on board (so excited to dive into their socials)

🎨 Watched one of my branding clients’ visions really start to come to life – it’s giving me all the creative buzz!

💒 Took a little break from the laptop to celebrate love at a beautiful wedding.

🎉 My brother turned 21, which definitely called for a proper family celebration🍾

💆🏼‍♀️Got a little pampered with a gorgeous LVL lash lift from the lovely

💅🏼 Fresh nails ready for my holiday – because we all know good nails = good vibes

All in all, August was busy, exciting, and full of special moments both for work and for me personally💫

Bring on September – I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a good one!🙌🏼

Somehow we’re already in the second half of the year… where has 2025 gone?! 😅

Here’s a little overview of what July’s looked like so far:

✨ One month in the new house - slowly settling and exploring our new area
🎂 Celebrated my partner’s birthday at the Jurassic World Experience in London
🍎 Finally tried Humble Crumble at Camden Market (worth the hype)
🫶🏼 Lots of family gatherings and quality time
📍Finding my feet with new local businesses
🎨 Started a really exciting new branding project
📸 Onboarded new clients (welcome!) + renewed some familiar faces💛

📆 Still some availability for content shoots before September - but most of my diary is now open from September onwards

We’re ending the month on a bit more of a quieter note, with some back and forth between doctors and hospitals at the minute, but being self-employed, the show must go on. Grateful as ever for your support, patience, and kindness 💛
