We’ve survived it.

The wind that tries to blow you back into 2024 💨

Yes… the weather has been absolutely miserable.
BUT… a new year means fresh legs, fresh excuses, and it’s time to blow the cobwebs off both bikes and riders 🚴‍♂️💪

We’ve all been waiting for Tŷ Penbont to open again as an excuse…
Well… bad news everyone 😏 — they’re now open.
That’s one less excuse left in the hat ☕🍰

No pressure.
No racing.
No Strava shame (well… minimal).
Just good banter, steady miles, and reminding ourselves why we love riding — even when our fingers go numb and our faces forget how to smile 😅

🎆 HAPPY NEW YEAR YOU BEAUTIFUL BUNCH! 🎆

That’s a wrap on our year of mud, miles, mechanicals and questionable route choices.

We’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s ridden, laughed, got lost, and somehow made it home with us over the last year. You lot make the climbs easier and the stops at Tŷ Penbont longer ☕🍰

Here’s to 2026 🍻
More rides, more banter, more battery anxiety… and of course, Millsy’s absolutely world-class navigation skills, guaranteed to take us somewhere vaguely near where we planned to be. 🧭😬

Dust off the bikes, charge the batteries (and yourselves), and we’ll see you on the trails very soon.

🎄 Annual Turkey Burner – slightly wonky start… 🦃🔥

The Turkey Burner didn’t quite roll out as planned. Millsy’s bike decided it had had enough of life, so — very Top Gear special — the Scott Spark from Dan’s shed was deployed.
Result? A full man-ual mode ride… and oh boy, didn’t we know it 🚲💀

Rob, meanwhile, was in full chat mode — regaling us with tales of his £5 Aldi cycling coat (still a bargain, still waterproof… allegedly) and proudly showing off his early Christmas presents: shiny new helmet and glasses 👓🎅

Naturally, we regrouped where all good rides should — Tŷ Penbont — for a couple of well-earned beers 🍻, coffee ☕️ and some proper bacon 🥓 and smiley faces 😁

Wishing all our followers a very Merry Christmas 🎄
Here’s hoping Santa empties his sack at Millsy’s house so his bike gets fixed and we can all stop hearing about “manual mode” 😂

Another cracking weekend out with the Elan E-Riders! 🚴‍♂️⚡
A steady 30 miles exploring some new routes, finding fresh trails, and finished off with bacon sarnies at Tŷ Penbont, because every good ride deserves proper fuel! 🥓☕

Cracking ride out this morning! 🌧️💪
Ground was proper wet and sticky — mud everywhere, even up high on the hills! Some epic descents and scenery though, the bikes definitely earned their wash today. 😅
As always our ritual mid ride stop for a top-notch coffee and brekkie sarnies at the ever-reliable Tŷ Penbont ☕🥓🥪

A spectacular rainbow🌈 on the way home too finishing the ride off nicely 👌🏻
