Cliffe Rugby Update 🖤💚❤️: I am pleased to announce we are at the initial stages of a Youth Development Team.

The RFU are attending the rugby club on 15 June 7pm-10pm to role out a face to face safeguarding course followed by an enhanced DBS check (20 minute e-learning course required beforehand).

The course is designed for people who want to volunteer/coach/turn up and support Youth Training when all is finalised and the season starts. If you have children and want to support, this is for you.

13 of 20 spaces are currently filled. If you have any interest in wanting to support the next big phase of CCRFC please message me privately and I will confirm more details with you. CCRFC is expanding and we are putting rugby on the map in Cliffe. Are you in

What a season it’s been for Cliffe Crusaders RFC. Finishing 2nd in the league and securing promotion to Counties 3 is something every single person connected to this club can be proud of.

This isn’t just about results on a scoreboard — it’s about commitment, grit, and showing up week in, week out. It’s about the lads turning up to training on cold, dark evenings when it would be easier to stay home. It’s about pushing through tough sessions, backing each other, and giving everything for the badge.

Being part of this club means more than just playing rugby. It means discipline, teamwork, and a shared belief in what we’re building together. Every tackle, every carry, every moment of effort has led to this achievement.

To the players — your hard work, determination, and attitude have been outstanding. To the coaches, volunteers, and supporters — this success belongs to you as well. This club is built on people who care and who give their time and energy to make it what it is.

We’re proud. Proud of the journey, proud of the team, and proud of the badge.

Another blinding evening for Cliffe Ladies Mini League against the boys!! Proud of every single one of our ladies!! Great performance this week. Well done to Karen Priest for being our Woman of the Match!! And thank you to the boys for giving their time to support us in a game. Roll on next Thursday.
