AI is changing the shape of the music industry as quickly as we predicted.

When I saw the signing of Xania Monet I predicted on the podcast that it must be to do with some sort of technology investment but I couldn’t find any source for that belief at the time. Fast forward to now and that’s exactly what it is. Major labels and VC backed music companies are quickly becoming technology companies and this leaves the Indy sector with an opportunity to create a new music industry that serves them.
