A new reels feature is coming - and social media marketers are gona be (kind of) happy about it

Earlier this month, announced a new A/B testing function for Reels.

Creators will have the opportunity to test up to 4️⃣ different captions and thumbnails, and which ever performs best will be shared to more users.

As with most Meta ‘updates’, exactly when this will be released isn’t mentioned.

Why will social media marketers be “kind of” happy about it? Well it seems the roll out will be for Creator account only for now, meaning business accounts will have to wait a little longer.

That being said, any feature that provides insights and REAL testing is a huge plus!

Have you done this before?

Unfortunately, any links in your Instagram post captions are not clickable 🫠

Whatever your call to action is, reserve a table, preorder today, book your space… your audience can’t do this directly from your Instagram post.

So, what can you do? 🤔

Direct people to your profle and put your links there instead!

To add links go to Edit profile > Links > Add external link

From here you can add multiple links and direct your audience to wherever you want them go 😊

You’re likely thinking one of two things: either “Yeah, this is obvious” or “How did I not know this before” 🫣

Well, if you’re the latter, don’t worry about it 😅

Instagram has a lot of “dos and don’ts” and it can be hard to keep track, especially if social media isn’t your thing.

A simple mistake to make, but an easy one to fix! 👊
