A 'Live Longer Better' event is taking place at North Herts Leisure Centre this week. Specifically for older adults, if you're local to the area, why not check out what they have on offer
Older adults in are being invited to get active and discover new ways to stay healthy at a special ‘Live Longer Better’ event next week💪
The event is being run by Everyone Active, in partnership with ourselves, Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership (HSP) and Active in the Community, with the aim of helping people find fun, accessible activities that can boost both physical and mental wellbeing.
Visitors can take part in a range of taster sessions led by local instructors, including strength and balance, pickleball, walking netball, walking football, walking squash, badminton, short mat bowls and seated cricket, with something suitable for all abilities.
The event ties in with Everyone Active’s national ‘Age is Just a Number’ campaign, which is running throughout October and November, celebrating older adults who are proving that age is no barrier to fitness.
