Men grieve too – and it’s okay to talk about it.

Grief can feel isolating, especially for men who may feel pressure to “stay strong” or keep emotions hidden. But sharing your feelings can make a huge difference.
If you’re struggling with loss, you’re not alone. There are safe spaces where you can connect with others who understand.
💬 Bereavement Cafés in Halton offer a welcoming environment to talk, listen, and find support.

Grief doesn’t always look like tears. For many men, it shows up as silence, stress, anger, or withdrawal. You might feel like you have to “stay strong” or “get on with it”—but grief is real, and it deserves space.
This National Grief Awareness Week, we’re reminding men across Halton that you don’t have to carry it alone.

💬 Talk to someone – even if it’s just a text or a chat online.
🧠 Calm your mind – take time to breathe, reflect, and look after yourself.
🤝 Reach out – support is available, confidential, and designed with men in mind.
