Adult social care is changing, and care providers need to pay attention.
The Government is moving towards a National Care Service, with a growing focus on prevention, independence and delivering more care closer to home. Around £4.6 billion in additional adult social care funding is also expected by 2028/29, with councils gaining greater flexibility over how funding is used locally.
For care providers, this could reshape how and when people access different types of care.
As the market evolves, digital visibility, strong messaging and building trust online will become even more important for providers looking to stand out and demonstrate their value.
Care England has shared more on what the Government’s direction could mean for adult social care providers.
